James Cunniffe, Founder and Principal Employee and Industrial Relations Consultant of WorkplaceNexus, brings over 13 years of hands-on operational, strategic, and arbitration experience in employee and industrial relations. He has worked across mining, construction, manufacturing, transport, security, health, not-for-profit, higher education, and both state and federal government, giving him a deep understanding of the practical and commercial challenges employers face across industries.
James has also served as a Committee Member Management Representative for the Industrial Relations Society of Western Australia for 4 years, from 2020 to 2024, strengthening his industry experience and professional relationships within the business community.
His values are focused on safety, innovation, efficiency, and building relationships at all levels of business. Drawing on this extensive practical experience, James provides tailored, actionable support that enables employers to address complex workplace challenges with confidence.
